Unsponsored Training Ride
Pumpkin Patch Pedal, sponsored by the Staten Island Bicycling Association (SIBA),
Last fall ride before the trainers come out. So get back or stay in shape for the 2011 Tour
25, 50, 62, or 100 miles Rides (start times are 7am, 8am, and 9am).
Place: Thompson Park in Jamesburg, NJ.
There is a pre-ride breakfast of bagels, muffins, fruit, coffee, and tea and the rest stops are stocked with fresh fruit, nourishing treats, beverages, and baked goods like pumpin and apple pie. A sag wagon is available for those unable to finish the ride and there's live music after the ride. All registrants will receive a water bottle and sponsor donated items. There's a bike raffle for all pre-registered riders and participants whose registration form is postmarked by Sep. 11 will receive one of their ever popular long sleeve T-shirts. All of this can be yours for a $30 registration fee and it can be done online at www.sibike.org
